Our Vision
The CARE Society exists to empower young people to take ownership of their education.
At the CARE Society, our core programs turn our conviction into daily practice: a caring, collaborative, project-based environment where students lead their learning, create real work, and grow with others. The Mighty Networks community connects teens with peers, parents, and mentors; clubs and workshops spark curiosity and confidence; and learning pods and courses provide structured collaboration to deepen projects and build real-world skills. With the Family Learning Hub and Parent Coaching, families of younger learners get the guidance they need to foster self-directed learning at home. Guided by the CARE Learning Framework, students develop creativity, leadership, and life-readiness—rooted in curiosity and compassion.
Upcoming Courses

Speaker for the Dead
This 4-week project-based course uses Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card as a foundation to explore cultural perspectives, morality, and the challenges of understanding societies different from our own. Students will analyze uncomfortable or unfamiliar cultural practices in both the novel and real life, learning how history and context shape values and traditions. Through guided discussion and independent research, students will create an original, valuable project that demonstrates their ability to critically examine culture while practicing empathy, curiosity, and creativity.

Mysteries & Conundrums
Where brainteasers meet big questions. In this class, you'll sharpen your thinking skills through an engaging "card" game exploring challenging questions about famous crimes, unusual historical events, brainteasers, enduring myths, and psychology/sociology. You'll learn to approach problems from multiple angles, develop enhanced reasoning abilities, and discover questioning methods that help you understand ideas deeply. The class encourages diverse perspectives and includes discussion-based learning with small homework projects.

Archetypes in Fairytales
This course invites you to step beyond the surface of Grimm’s fairytales and into their deeper meaning. We’ll explore how each character embodies Jungian archetypes — from the naive maiden to the inexperienced masculine — and how these stories were never about one gender winning over another, but about integration, growth, and transformation.

Why Fitness Matters
Join us to discover how mental and physical strength come together! We often have the idea that the mind and body are separate entities; we even separate mental and physical health, but the brain is a part of the body, so why do we often overlook the impact of physical health on mental health? Indeed, we often see people categorised as either the academic or the athletic types when both actually support each other to help make a person their best self. This course aims to be an entry point for people who've never considered the importance of fitness and health, and how it can enhance all elements of their life: From Physical to Mental to Social.

Storytelling: 3 Steps
Stories are everywhere—books, movies, conversations, even our own memories. In this 4-week course, you’ll discover how to craft stories that captivate from start to finish. We’ll focus on the 3-part arc—the backbone of every great tale—and explore how it shapes not only whole plots but also single moments. Along the way, you’ll learn how to: Build characters with clear goals and conflicts. Use history and personal experiences to inspire fresh ideas. Bring it all together into your own story project. Each week combines short lessons, writing prompts, and live workshops. You’ll finish with a story that’s entirely yours—plus the tools to keep writing long after the course ends. By the end of this course, you will… Understand how to use the 3-step story arc to shape any story. Create characters with goals, conflicts, and growth. Build a world inspired by history or personal experience. Write and share your own original story project, with a clear explanation of what inspired it.

The Aristotle Adventure Club
Are you curious about big ideas that shaped our world? Want to uncover how one man’s way of thinking traveled across 2,000 years, 10,000 miles, and four different cultures? In this club, we’ll dive into The Aristotle Adventure—a fascinating journey through history that follows Aristotle’s logic, a powerful tool for understanding the world, as it was preserved, studied, and passed down from the ancient Greeks, through Christian and Islamic scholars, and into the foundations of Western thought.

PROJECT-BASED COURSES
Each month, our educators offer a selection of 4-week project-based courses based on community demand. These courses often move beyond traditional school subjects, covering topics such as group book studies, philosophy, personal development, cultural perspectives, IT skills, entrepreneurship and personal finance. We invite students to suggest courses that would be of interest to them and the greater community.

Design and complete at least one Creative Project that is both original and valuable.

Emotional Intelligence — self-awareness, resilience, and relationships.
-
Creative Intelligence — innovation, imagination, and problem-solving.
-
Scholarship — rigorous thinking, critical inquiry, and understanding.
-
Practical Skills — applying knowledge to real-world challenges and daily life.
-
Digital Literacy — using technology responsibly, creatively, and ethically.
Alongside these domains, we have also established seven enduring and universal values that all learners need to thrive in the real world:
-
Curiosity — Seeking truth, asking questions, and exploring possibilities.
-
Compassion — Choosing to understand, care for, and act on behalf of others.
-
Collaboration — Building trust and synergy by learning and creating together. The CARE Collaborative Model provides a process and shared vision for effective collaboration.
-
Critical Thinking — Evaluating evidence and making reasoned decisions. Our Zone of Rigorous Learning helps guide how we approach challenges.
-
Creative Thinking — Innovating and generating meaningful ideas. We believe in learning through real-world projects that help people and expand knowledge.
-
Communication — Expressing ideas clearly and listening deeply across perspectives.
-
Citizenship — Acting with fairness, responsibility, and a commitment to the common good.
These 7 Cs are not just skills; they are enduring human values. They shape how learners engage with themselves, others, and the world. Rooted in care, they create the foundation for life-readiness in every context — school, work, family, or society.
A Living Philosophy
Our philosophy is not static. It is collectively owned, continuously evolving, and practiced in community. It grows through real-world projects, shared experiences, and the voices of students, families, educators, and partners around the globe.
At the heart of CAREvolution is a simple but radical belief: learning and living must be rooted in care — caring for yourself, for others, and for learning itself. Without care, there is no trust, no curiosity, no collaboration, and no justice.
Care is not just a feeling. We view it as a universal philosophy of life rooted in truth, love, curiosity, and compassion. It is the compass that guides how we grow as people and how we build a better future together.
The CARE Compass: The Five Essential Learning Domains and the 7 Cs
To be truly life-ready, learners need more than academic knowledge. The CARE Learning Framework integrates five essential domains of human intelligence:
Our philosophy is care. The CARE Learning Framework is how we live it. The CAREvolution is how we bring it to the world.
WE BELIEVE IN A REVOLUTION BUILT ON COLLABORATIVE,
PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
CARE students aren’t passive recipients of information—they are active creators, problem-solvers, and leaders who work with peers, parents, and mentors to build real-world skills. The CARE Society is our global community leading the education revolution by reimagining what education looks like when it is rooted in curiosity and compassion.
This model exhibits how members show care for themselves, others, and learn through personal growth.
A Better Education.

How It Works
More than just a walkthrough, Orientation helps set the tone for the CARE Society by focusing on culture, courage, and collaboration. Together, we explore how trusting relationships create the foundation for meaningful learning, how positive emotions and curiosity fuel creativity, and how every member can contribute to building a supportive, inspiring community. Through engaging discussions, videos, and reflections, we show families what it means to learn with compassion, to lead with curiosity, and to thrive in a culture that values both rigor and joy.
By the end of Orientation, families are not just familiar with our tools and practices—they are ready to step into a global movement of learners who are committed to growing together with care.

"It's nice to be at a school that teaches emotional intelligence. Kids (and adults!) need this, and public school isn't meeting this need."

The learning feels personal and meaningful. I know that the kids will remember the things that they learned from working on these projects much longer than if they had to study for a test.
